i just bought a 1968 Gibson ES345TD hollow body guitar from a redneck in Alabama that would typically be worth around $3000-4000 for $1400 whoohooo 4 me

on another topic....

i saw Pope John Paul live and in concert back in 2002....

my grandmother and some friends made r way in the open theatre area of Vatican City and sat down along with about 20,000 other people....we eagerly awaited the arrival of the Pope and then finally we caught a glimpse of him as he drove up in the pope mobile.....the crowd went wild and screamed insanely...on and on the lil pope went driving the popemobile around so the entire crowd could watch the pope bask in his glory....he kept on waving and then suddenly the pope mobile stopped....as the pope bent over i captured the moment as he kissed a babies head....

the crowd was delighted and uproar was heard...onward went the pope mobile to the stage....the pope was transferred from the popemobile to the stage by some robotic chair device which was could have only been better if there had been green and red laser lights shining the path.....later the pope gave speeches in several languages and the he began the concert singing all sorts of tunes to the uproar of the crowd....it was at this moment that i REALized the Pope is a ROCK STAR and since rock and roll can never die i say we should not let the pope die....

we know the pope doesn't have much time left so why not submerge him in water and rapidly freeze him and then 'bury' him at the North Pole....a few hundreds years from now once we have the technology to unfreeze him and save his life then we can do it...and until then anyone that unfreezes him is a murderer....LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL! :add30:

went to Dr. Bahadur of Biloxi's "Eye Associates of the South" where they gave me a little sedative to help me relax then i was put in 'the chair' where they put all sorts of drops in my eyes....next they put tegaderm over the eyelases to keep them out of the eye and followed that with this weird device that holds the lids open...wish i had a pic of that one...then Dr. Bahadur made a cut for the 'flap' which was then rolled back and more drops were applied throughout then they rolled me under the laser at that point and i had to stare at this blinking red light...next they put this suction device onto my eye and when the suction was turned on my vision temporarily went black and just as it started coming back is when the laser turned on...i could hear my eyeball flesh burning and smell the funk...after about maybe 15 to 20 seconds of zappage it was done...the flap was laid back in place and on to the next eye for the same....the only pain i felt was when the suction was turned on that was a bit uncomfortable like someone softly squeezing the eyeball not an intolerable pain more of just an aching discomfort....after i was done i sat up and things were pretty cloudly but i could tell i could see longer distances clearer....i had stayed up all night long working on a new Anorexic Skeleton song "GHOST" with Derek and Anthony( http://www.forumearth.com/attachments.php?f=-1 ) prior to the surgery so that i could sleep all day after it was over to minimize pain/discomfort.....lisa woke me up every 2 hours to put the drops in and i slept until about 2 am.... yeah that was some great sleep...i had to wear these clear goggle things while sleeping and will have to continue to wear them for a week....i have an eye exam at 11am to make sure everything is going well....
